Delivery to your door
The delivery of your goods will be made to the physical address that you provide on the Student Freight Services commercial invoice.
To ensure that delivery is made to your desired destination you must ensure that all the details are correct and be sure to include the name of recipient, street address, post or zip code, state or province, telephone number(s) and email address.
As you have paid for a door to door delivery you can expect such delivery to door. You should not be required to collect the shipment from a destination agents depot unless we have previously advised you of this requirement, at the time of sending the goods.
If delivery is attempted and no one is home to accept the delivery then a card will be left by our destination agent for you or your family to make contact with the agent and arrange a suitable delivery time.
While there should be none on used household and personal effects, any assessed customs duties and taxes are payable by the receiver at destination and these would be additional to the transport charge already incurred.
We will provide your school or University with a courtesy email once your shipment has been delivered or if there are any unforseen delays we will also update them of this via email. Additionally if you do have an email address, and if requested, we can also notify you directly of the progress of your items.
